HOW TO CONVERT YOUTUBE SUBTITLE (CC-Caption) to SRT [metode 2]

I have shared how to download Youtube subtittle (CC) to srt file with YouTube Caption Downloader before.. But sadly, it doesn't work well for YT video longer than 30minutes... -.-

HEYY, don't be too sad, now, i'll share something similar, but *maybe* 'lil complicated.. don't worry! I'll teach you with the simplest way to learn.. ^^ READ CAREFULLY AND LEST TRY THESE STEPS....



STEP 1. Open the YT video that you want to download
for example, I'll download Mblaq Hello Baby Ep 6 (Url: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5iWaJsrxmg)

Copy the video "key"the video "key" is the leters after "=", at the example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5iWaJsrxmg, the key is v5iWaJsrxmg. In other case, the "key" is between "=" and "&".



STEP 2. Open "About:cache" in a new tab
like this and click the List Cache Entries at Disk Cache Device


until you see this page




STEP 3. Push Ctrl + F on your keyboard and paste the video "key"
search the potential link to find the real youtube timedtext.. see the yellow highlight?? those are the important clue to get the right sub.. "timedtext" is name of youtube cc (subtittle) and "langs=en" is the language that you choose, it is ENGLISH sub.
If you think you find the right one, click it (good if you open it in a new tab)..

STEP 4. Click again the link (at the blue line)


until you get this list of sub



STEP 5. Save the XLS file with "save page as" and save at your PC. REMEMBER!! it not a srt file!! it still a XLS file.. you gave to convert it before.. how?? follow these steps...

STEP 6. Download Google2SRT *here* to convert the XLS file fo SRT

or download from mediafire here (updated)

STEP 7. Extract all the files and open the "run" file




If you see box like this, don't worry..



Wait (maybe for a minute) until you see this box

for some case, the real box maybe doesn't appear.. restart you computer and try again.. make sure that you didn't close or minimize it

the first "Triar..." is to input the XLS file that you want to convert, and the second "Triar..." is for the output file.. please NOTICE that the output file always ended by ".srt" (like on highlight)

STEP 8. Convert the XLS file by click "Ja!"
until this box appear



STEP 9. ENJOY IT
Copy the .srt file to a same directory with the video and make sure their (both video and .srt) names are same!!

THATS IT... ^^
